Over the weekend, our team was busy delivering a new release to AcademicWorks users. This release includes some of the most anticipated features to improve the donor reporting process for colleges, universities, and foundations!
Donor Report Generation
Ever since the release of AcademicWorks Engage last summer, we have been adding features and functionality to improve the donor reporting process for colleges, universities, and foundations. While some organizations spend hundreds of hours each year compiling donor reports, others struggle to produce donor reports at all. With new donor report generation functionality, donor relation's teams can streamline the donor reporting process by downloading and/or emailing the data available through the donor portal. The donor portal within AcademicWorks Engage allows donors to view fund disbursements, fund snapshots, thank-you letters, and scholarship recipient photos directly related to their specific funds.
Calculated Question Type
A new question type allows users to add, subtract, multiply, and divide numerical values between two numerical fields. For example, you can calculate student's expenses, various sources of income, and total need. This functionality can be helpful for colleges and universities in Canada who must calculate total need from a bursary financial need form.
Applicant Centric Awarding Enhancements
In 2016, we released functionality that makes it easy to take an applicant centric approach to awarding. This can be especially helpful for private colleges and universities. We made some enhancements to make it even easier to use this functionality. This includes the ability to prioritize the funds with the greatest remaining balances by filtering your view of funds based on a minimum set amount.
This is a lot jam packed into one release and we hope these features help you breathe a little easier! Want to learn more about how AcademicWorks can help your college, university, or foundation?
